Soul Desires is a full-service bookstore specializing in books from the major world traditions for your spiritual journey. In addition we offer a selection of best sellers and local interest books. Because we work directly with publishers and major wholesalers, we can obtain most any book in print. Soul Desires hospitality offers a quiet environment in which to relax, meet friends and enjoy a cappuccino, latte, or mocha, tea or soft drink while you browse our selections. The holy hardware items include prayer beads and jewelry, singing bowls, crosses and nativities, drums and beautiful stained glass. Stop in and see us when you are in Omaha or we can ship directly to you.

Driving to us	Parking: There is on-street parking on all streets in the Old Market. If it is a metered spot, meters are a Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm affair (holidays excepted.) Meter rates vary and are slightly cheaper the further from the heart of the Old Market you get. Free on-street parking is available at the top of 10th Street viaduct and on Leavenworth Street. There are surface parking lots right next to our building and directly across the street. Their rates are $3 for all day unless you arrive after 5:00pm on Friday or Saturday or on the date of a special event.
From the east (Iowa)	Cross the I-480 bridge over the Missouri River from Council Bluffs. Take the exit at the end of the bridge to Dodge street. The stoplight at the end of the ramp is 10th Street. Turn left (south) on 10th Street. Go to the 4th stoplight at the beginning of the viaduct over the railroad tracks. This is Jackson Street. Embassy Suites Hotel will be on your left. Turn right and look for a parking spot.
From the west (via interstate) option 1	Take I-80 east to the I-480 downtown loop. Follow I-480 as it curves to the east when the North Freeway branches off (as if going to the Quest Omaha Center.) Take the 14th street exit. You will be heading south on 14th Street. Keep going till you reach Jackson Street; there will be a stoplight. Turn left (east) and proceed past the stoplight (13th street), and the two stop signs (12th and 11th streets.) Look for a parking spot.
From the west (via interstate) option 2	Take I-80 east to the I-480 downtown loop. Take the Leavenworth Street exit and turn right (east) at the stoplight at the end of the exit (Leavenworth Street). Follow Leavenworth Street east till you go down a steep hill into the river bottom and at the stoplight at the bottom of the hill, turn left (north). Go two blocks to the stoplight at Jackson Street and turn right (east). Go two blocks or two stop signs and find a parking spot.
From the west (via streets)	Get to Dodge Street (or other major arterial) going east. Take it all the way to 10th Street and turn right (south). Go till you get to the stoplight at the north end of the viaduct over the railroad tracks that goes up to the Durham Western Heritage Museum (old Union Station). That is Jackson Street. Turn away from the river (west) and find a parking spot.
